Wild Abandon playing at North of Fourth bar in Eureka.
About the band
Based out of Arcata, California - Wild Abandon has been called a band of "magical starlit darlings" by the North Coast Journal. Blending folk rock roots with experimental indie guitar and intricate bass lines, the band has a rock n’roll feel with a poetic overtone.
They have two full length albums. The newest album, Character Study, is out everywhere on January 14, 2023 and was self-produced by the band over three years. The band released a single from the new album on Solstice 2022 that is available on all platforms, and a scenery driven, plot twisting music video (see below) along with the single.
Their first album, Grayscale, is available on all streaming platforms and was recorded at Big Bang Studios in Loleta, CA.
They enjoy playing festivals, concerts with other like-minded musicians, in clubs and bars, backyard shows, out on the farm, and house parties.
